Buyers Guide :

1.What is Sensor?

A sensor is a device that measures physical input from its environment and converts it into data. Most sensors are electronic but some are more simple, such as a glass thermometer, which presents visual data. People use sensors to measure temperature, gauge distance, detect smoke, regulate pressure. A sensor converts a physical phenomenon into a measurable analog voltage converted into a human readable display or transmitted for reading or further processing.

2.What are the features of Sensor?

Sensitivity : Highly sensitive sensors show larger fluctuations in output as a result of fluctuations in input.

Range: : It is the difference between the smallest and largest inputs with which it can operate properly.

Response time : It is the time that a a certain sensors percentage output of total change.

Accuracy : It shows how close the output of the sensor is to the expected value.

3.What are the benefits of Sensor?

  • Accelerate processes and make them more accurate
  • Monitor processes and assets accurately, reliably, and continuously
  • Collect process and asset data in real time
  • Increase productivity and reduce total cost
  • Lower energy wastage
